Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten when she was five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. In addition, she competed at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so and signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. In Europe Stone spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone, however, became frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She decided to keep her acting career going acting as a model while she lived there. In her 20s, she starred in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," that received mixed praises.
