Audra McDonald is unrivaled in the range and variety of her talent as a singer and an actor. In 2015, she won an unprecedented 6 Tony Awards as well as two Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards. McDonald earned a nomination for a Fourth Emmy in the year 2016 for her performance in HBO's movie in the series Lady Day, at Emerson's Bar & Grill. The Bite will be a 6-episode drama focusing on a deadly epidemic co-produced by Spectrum Originals, CBS Studios and Taylor Schilling in 2021. The actress first appeared as U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in the year 2009 on CBS's legal drama The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald took on her role (now named Liz Reddick) as a season regular on The Good Fight on Paramount+ getting the three Critics Choice Award nominations for her role. She's currently appearing as guest on Julian Fellowes' period film The Gilded Age.
