Cristela, also is known as Cristela also known as Cristela the comedian is an American writer, actor and stand-up comedy performer. Most famously, she is known for the TV series Cristela that began airing in 2014. It was her first Latina ever to create or write, and then produce, her own program on a network. She began her life in Texas but later relocated into Los Angeles, where she began her professional career. She has had guest appearances on shows such as Sons of Anarchy or General Hospital. Her writing credits include the TV show Mind of Mencia. She was also the host of and featured on "The View". She also has worked with several films, such as The Angry Birds Movie.
